What we collect, what we don’t.

Last updated: 26 May 2026

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to match you with other event attendees: your email, a PIN you choose, your name, optional organisation, and three short prompts about what you do, what you offer, and what you’re looking for. We use this only to surface AI-suggested matches and to email you when those matches are ready.

Your email is never shared with another participant unless both of you tap to connect.

What we collect

  • Email address (used as your login and to contact you about matches)
  • A 6-digit PIN (hashed before storage — we cannot recover it; you reset via email)
  • Your name, optional organisation, and the three profile prompts
  • A flag for whether you opted in to post-event AI matching
  • Records of which participants you tapped “connect” on
  • Standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention

What we don't collect

  • No analytics or marketing trackers
  • No third-party cookies
  • No phone numbers or physical addresses
  • No profile photos or social media handles (unless you write them into a prompt yourself)

How matches work

When you opt in, an organiser triggers an AI process that reads every opted-in profile and ranks the strongest mutual matches for each person. The AI is Anthropic Claude, accessed via the Vercel AI Gateway. We send only the profile fields you wrote — no email addresses, no IDs. The AI returns rankings and reasoning, which we store against your profile.

You then see your matches on a dashboard. If you tap “connect” on someone, the other party gets an email saying someone wants to meet them — without revealing who. Only when both parties tap connectdo you each see the other’s email.

Email

We send transactional email only — PIN resets, match notifications, and your matches when an event ends. Email is delivered via Amazon SES. We do not use the address for marketing.

Data retention

Your profile and matches are retained for the duration of the event and for up to 90 days afterwards, so you can continue tapping connect on AI-suggested matches. After that, profiles are deleted. If you’d like your data removed sooner, email hello@loma.sg with the email address you used.
